09/18/2009 There has been talk(?) everywhere about people concerned about the cost of healthcare and how best to fix the problem.  One of the recently heard comments came from folks concerned about starting a government run healthcare system and how it just “won’t work.”  To those folks I would like to offer some additional food for thought. more

03/01/2009 It was very encouraging to see the enthusiasm exhibited at the January 5th Rally for the Minnesota Health Plan at the state capitol in St. Paul.  GMHCC supplied almost 90 “bodies” to the event, despite a weekend storm that dumped lots of snow across most of the state. more

12/01/2008 The elections are over, Thanksgiving is over (are they related?), and now everyone is looking forward to the Christmas Season. December is always a busy month at Seven County as we have many loose ends to tie up from a business standpoint, including year end tax reports and the always popular frenzied finalizing of all those Part D changes for folks on Medicare (Lisa’s specialty).more

11/01/2008 I think I’ve mowed my grass for the last time this season… here’s hoping, anyway. The winter necessities of Minnesota are now being pulled out of storage for another season of use.more

10/15/2008 There are some interesting parallels between the current state of the economy and our healthcare crisis. Surprisingly, there are still those who deny that a real problem exists in either situation.more
